For additional accommodations, we recommend OTIS, a boutique hotel located near downtown Harbor Springs. While we do not have a room block at this property, it is a wonderful option for guests looking for a unique stay close to the festivities. Reservations can be made directly through their website.
Northern Michigan offers a more intimate, secluded setting, and transportation options reflect accordingly. While rideshare services are available, they are not always reliable. For guests flying in, we highly recommend reserving a rental car prior to your arrival.
THE WEDDING DAY
For guests staying at the Colonial Inn, transportation will be provided to the ceremony and back to the hotel at the end of the evening. Guests are also welcome to drive, as parking is available at each venue.
Transportation to and from the welcome party will be at each guest’s discretion.

What is the dress code?
For the wedding, formal attire is requested. We suggest tea-length or longer dresses for women and suits for men.
For the welcome party, guests are welcome to dress however they feel most comfortable. Pond Hill is a charming farm setting with an onsite brewery and restaurant, and the event will be held in a heated tent. We encourage guests to dress for the Northern Michigan weather and choose attire that allows them to relax and enjoy the evening.
Will there be transportation from the wedding to the reception?
All wedding day events are located within one block of each other in the heart of downtown Harbor Springs, so there is no need to drive between venues.

Is there a break between the ceremony and reception?
Yes - as is traditional with Catholic weddings, our ceremony will take place earlier in the afternoon, with approximately a two-hour break before the reception begins.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Guests arranging their own transportation are kindly asked to arrive at Holy Childhood of Jesus by 12:45 PM.
